Etymology
Fuchsia Named after Leonard Fuchs, 16th century German botanist.
thymifolia From the Genus Thymus, thyme, and Latin folium meaning leaves, to mean leaves that look like thyme's.

This species fuchsia produces small leaves leaves that look a bit like thyme. Small pink turbular flowers appear along the bottom of arching branches in Summer, followed by round dark black coloured shiny berries. Makes a very handsome 1m shrub.
